Utah County Fair 2018

As the Utah County Fair gears up, here's a few things to look out for at this fantastic annual event!

The Fair takes place from August 15th - August 18th. On Wednesday, August 15th, the Fair is open from 4-10pm. On Thursday - Saturday (August 16-18th), the Fair is open from 10am - 10pm. The Fair takes place at 475 South Main Street in Spanish Fork. (Spanish Fork Fair Grounds).

Vote for the Provo Pig!

When the Utah County Fair asked us to decorate a wooden pig to represent our city, the folks at Neighborhood Art Center eagerly stepped up to help us with the challenge. NAC had their patrons add artwork until the entire pig was filled with the many things people love about Provo.

By just looking at the pig, you'll be able to identify some of Provo's best loved spots. What a fun way to give a shout out to Provo and the Utah County Fair! Make sure you vote!

Activities

From bullfighting to the rodeo to Monster Trucks, there's something for everyone at the Fair! There's a talent competition, great food, and lots of animals to see. Visit the Utah County Fair website to see a list of activities and a schedule of events.

In addition to these great activities, there's a Mayor Dunking Fundraising Event. Every year, the Utah County Fair chooses a charity that provides a huge service to all the communities in Utah County. This year the Fair chose the Dan Peterson School, an organization that works with some of the most high risk special need students in our county. This facility is in dire need of upgrading and replacing their therapy rooms. Every Mayor in the county is participating! To donate, and save me from getting dunked, visit the link here. Just make sure to include Provo in your donation note!

I hope you visit the Fair and enjoy some good food and great entertainment!
