Do you want to recycle but feel confused about what you can and can’t put in that blue can? If you’re not careful, you can end up doing more damage by trying to recycle things that shouldn’t be.
To help simplify things, here’s a list of things you DON’T recycle:
cartons covered in wax
paper towels
aluminum foil
styrofoam
glass
motor oil
insecticides
garbage
Always make sure recycled items are clean and free of food and grease. Simply rinse out those plastic milk and juice jugs with running water before committing them to the blue receptacle.
