I’m beyond thrilled to share a monumental leap forward for our city and its connectivity to the world—American Airlines is launching new service to Provo Airport starting October 7, 2024. American Airlines will connect us directly with three daily flights to major hubs: two to Dallas/Fort Worth and one to Phoenix.
Through these hubs, we can now hop to over 350 destinations in more than 60 countries, including over 30 destinations in Mexico, the Caribbean, and Latin America. Imagine the possibilities—more travel options for business, leisure, and everything in between, all starting from our doorstep at Provo Airport.
This exciting development is the result of many years of hard work and vision. As your mayor, one of my proudest achievements has been to promote and expand Provo Airport. From securing funds for its expansion to enhancing its facilities, we've dreamed big—and it’s paying off. American Airlines’ decision to initiate these flights is a clear indication of their confidence in our city’s potential and infrastructure.
Starting April 22, tickets will be available for purchase on aa.com or through American’s mobile app. This is more than just a travel update—it’s an invitation to explore, to meet, and to grow. I am grateful to everyone who played a part in making this happen. Our journey doesn’t stop here—it’s just taking off!
