A Covey Center Christmas Embrace the joy of the season on December 1st or 2nd at the Covey Center with an evening filled with the melodic beauty of Christmas classics. Provo Christmas Market & Lights On Ceremony Let's kick off the season in true holiday style at the Provo Christmas Market on December 2nd, at Pioneer Park. From 4:00 to 8:00 PM, over 50 local vendors will offer treasures and treats, setting the perfect scene for holiday cheer. As night falls, join me, Mayor Kaufusi, and Santa Claus at 5:30 PM for the magical Lights On Ceremony. Together, we'll illuminate Pioneer Park with the glow of 2,500 strands of twinkling lights – a sight sure to instill wonder in hearts of all ages.


Utah Valley Handbell Choir Concerts The melodic chimes of the Utah Valley Handbell Choir will grace the Provo Library on December 4th, offering two concerts tailored for young children and ages 8 & up. Be sure to register for this annual musical tradition.


Marley's Christmas Carol From December 7th through 23rd, the Covey Center for the Arts presents a twist on a seasonal classic with "Marley's Christmas Carol." Explore the afterlife of Scrooge's business partner in a tale that intertwines laughter with fright, and redemption with renewal. A Pioneer Christmas We are thrilled to share with you the return of a cherished tradition in our city—A Pioneer Christmas at the Provo Pioneer Village. Mark your calendars for December 8th, 9th, and 11th. On these special days, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM, we invite you to step back in time and experience the holidays as the Irish pioneers did. The Village gates will open wide to welcome one and all to an old-fashioned Celtic Christmas celebration.


Peaks Figure Skating Club Annual Christmas Show Be captivated by the grace and beauty of the Peaks Figure Skating Club on December 9th at 5pm. It's a perfect family outing complete with hot cocoa and holiday tunes.


Skate With Santa On December 9th, Peaks Ice Arena invites you to lace up your skates and glide alongside Santa himself! At 7:00 PM, the ice comes alive with holiday magic. Admission is $6, with skate rental available for $4.


Nutcracker Utah Metropolitan Ballet presents the timeless tale of "Nutcracker," running from December 9th through 20th at the Covey Center for the Arts. Be captivated by the enchanting story of Clara's fantastical voyage, with stunning sets and costumes by Cassandra Barney. This re-imagined holiday masterpiece, choreographed by Jacqueline P. Santa's Special Visit to Provo City Hall All aboard the Polar Express! Provo City Hall is delighted to announce a magical visit from Santa Claus himself on Monday, December 11th, from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM. Transforming our halls into a winter wonderland, we're inviting families to join us for an afternoon of joy and festive fun.


Meet Santa Claus: Experience the magic of the holidays as Santa stops by Provo City Hall. Don't miss the chance to tell him your holiday wishes!


Gifts for Children: Each child will receive a small gift from Santa, adding a little extra sparkle to their holiday season.


Santa’s Mailbox: Have your little ones written their letters to Santa yet? Bring them along! Provo City Hall is honored to be an official drop-off point for Santa’s mail. Just drop your letters in Santa’s Mailbox at our event, and Santa will write back! No stamp needed – just remember to include your child’s name and mailing address on the letter.


Riverwoods Holiday Happenings This holiday season, The Shops at Riverwoods will be your go-to destination for festive fun! Here's what we have in store for you:


Free Christmas Carousel: Starting November 28th, every Monday through Saturday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, you can enjoy a merry-go-round of joy at Provo Beach. Please note that the carousel will be closed on December 5th, 7th, 8th, 13th, and 15th.


Free Wagon Rides: Immerse yourself in the holiday spirit with complimentary wagon rides. Available on Tuesdays and Thursdays (Nov 28th, 30th; Dec 5th, 7th, 12th, 14th, and 21st) from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM. Gather on Clocktower Rd for this festive treat.


Santa is Here!: Meet Santa every evening from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Monday through Saturday. It's a wonderful opportunity for photos and for the little ones to share their Christmas wishes with the jolly old man himself.


Ice Sculpture Nights: Witness the transformation of ice into art on Mondays (Dec 4th, 11th, 18th) at 6:00 PM. These nights showcase the skill and creativity of ice sculptors, providing a captivating display for all ages.


A Christmas Carol Experience the timeless story of 'A Christmas Carol' on December 11th. Join Bryan Johnson for a one-man performance of Dickens's classic, and support the Utah Food Bank with your donations during this season of giving. Register online here.
