I hope you take the time to research the issues and candidates that are on the ballot this year. It's so important to vote and be a part of the political process. With vote by mail, I hope it makes it a little bit easier for you to complete your ballot. If you have questions about vote by mail, how to register, or voting in person, visit a previous blog here or the elections website.
One way the city is trying to educate citizens is holding a town hall about the City Police, Fire, and City Facilities Bond. This town hall is to educate on both sides of the issues. There will be representatives that will speak FOR and AGAINST the bond and there will be time for Questions and Answers from anyone in the audience. The town hall will take place in the City Council Chambers at 7:30pm.
If you can't make it to the meeting in person, Provo's Channel 17 will be live streaming the event from the City Council's YouTube channel.
I hope you research this issue (and all issues and candidates on the ballot) and make the best decision for you.
If you'd like to know more about the town hall event, visit the Facebook event here. If you'd like a tour of the facilities, visit this blog here for dates and times.
