Skate for Cancer

On May 5, 2018 from 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm, at the Peaks Ice Arena local figure skaters, including many area youths, are involved in raising awareness and money for those who are affected by cancer. Many of the athletes are BYU students and some of the athletes performing have even competed on the national and international stage.

The event will empower our young athletes to better support a friend or family member diagnosed with this terrible disease. Skate for Cancer utilizes figure skating, a sport that epitomizes strength and big dreams, to bring attention to those in our local area that are affected by all types of cancer.

We would like to share our talents with you to show honor to victims touched by this disease. This promises to be a wonderful evening of live performances by skaters. Our cancer benefit show is a unique way for us to show our love and support to local families and individuals who desperately need our help.

This event is entirely free for anyone and afterward you will be able to enjoy a free public skate session after the show! Plan to skate with us, if you like. It’s FREE! Food trucks will also be joining us for this event. There will even be opportunities for winning some prizes donated by local Provo businesses, Millie’s Princess Foundation and the Peaks Ice Arena for those that donate during the evening.
