Provo Women’s Day Website is LIVE!

I’m excited to announce that the Provo Women’s Day website is now live! I can finally reveal all of the amazing workshops, classes, programs, and parties we’ve got planned for you! And without our amazing sponsors, all of this would not be possible. Thank you Swire Coca-Cola, and Google Fiber!

In past years, we've had an overwhelming amount of support and excitement that Provo was celebrating Women’s Day. So much so that once the tickets were released, sessions and evening events started filling up fast! This year we want every woman in Provo and beyond to be able to attend and I am confident that you’ll be able to find an event that speaks to you.

So hurry and go check out the full schedule of events at provowomensday.com or continue reading for all the details.

Breakfast & Lecture Series

The day will kick off with a breakfast hosted by me! Tickets for the breakfast sell out every year because of limited seating, so be sure to register to reserve your spot! Please note, signing up for the Mayor's Breakfast will register you for the Lecture Series as well.

The Lecture Series will start immediately following the Mayor's breakfast and special welcome. Everyone is invited to attend the Lecture series (all genders welcome). Bring your daughters, sisters, mothers, neighbors, and friends! Refreshments will be served during the lectures and each attendee will receive Women's Day swag. Get your tickets here.

Girls Summit

Provo Girls Summit is Provo’s first-ever professional summit for girls, ages 8-12! On March 7th, this one-day event will feature women from a variety of professional backgrounds–writers, scientists, artists, and business owners.

Join us for a brief keynote presentation, as well as time for girls to visit one-on-one with each of our guests at their professional booths. Provo Girls will learn what it’s like to look at the world as a planetary scientist, what it takes to write and act in BYU TV’s Studio C, how to run a stop-motion photography business, and so much more! This event is free and open to the public. More details here.

Women’s Day After Party

Get ready for a night of wanderlust, adventure, and vintage vibes! Inspired by fearless women throughout the world - let's celebrate the wanderer in each of us. So grab your ticket, put on your bold attire and head on over to the Provo Recreation Center for a Women's Day After Party!

Early Bird Tickets are $5/person and $10/at the door.

Your ticket grants you exclusive access to this once-in-a-lifetime party. So get ready for live entertainment, photo ops, interactive activities, dancing and so much more! DJ Faaoso will be in the house along with guest appearances from performers around the world, and the one and only Madame Mayor Michelle Kaufusi. We'll be serving handcrafted mocktails and savory hors d'oeuvres all night long. (Free food people!) And every guest will receive a fiber-optic sparkler for the perfect send off! Be sure to get there early to kick things off with a balloon drop filled with prizes.

And so much more!

We’ve partnered up with several Provo establishments and personalities to host several events to celebrate the occasion. There will be a lunch seminar, an art discussion, a yoga class, a mini tasting and factory tour of Taste, and so much more. You will find all the details for these engaging activities on the Provo Women’s Day website, provowomensday.com.

Please note that there are still a few events on the site that have not released tickets yet. We will continue to update the website with the latest information as they become available so check back soon. You can also follow the Facebook Event Page to receive the latest updates and details.

If you would like to host an event, please let us know and we’ll add it to our growing list of celebrations. There is still plenty of room for a sporting event, a group hike, science experiments and much more. I encourage you to get creative and join in! If you would like to participate, please contact Whitney Booth at wbooth@provo.org.
