Provo Women’s Day Website is Live!

I’m excited to announce that the Provo Women’s Day website is now live! I can finally reveal all of the amazing workshops, classes, programs, and parties we’ve got planned for you! And without our amazing sponsors, all of this would not be possible. Thank you Nu Skin, Swire Coca-Cola, and V School!

Last year we had an overwhelming amount of support and excitement that Provo was celebrating Women’s Day. So much so that once the tickets were released, sessions and evening events started filling up fast! This year we want every woman in Provo and beyond to be able to attend and I am confident that you’ll be able to find an event that speaks to you.

So hurry and go check out the full schedule of events at provowomensday.com or continue reading for all the details.

Breakfast & Lecture Series

The day will kick off with a breakfast hosted by me! The breakfast will be followed by a lecture series featuring some of Provo’s most established influencers, academics, social advocates, philanthropists, and thinkers. You’ll meet women who are changing the face of Provo with their passion and personal and professional projects.

Bring your daughters, sisters, mothers, neighbors and friends! The breakfast and the lecture series are both free and open to the public (all genders welcome) but the breakfast requires you to RSVP. Please check your calendar before you claim a ticket to reserve your spot. We want everyone who is available to be able to attend but we are expecting the event to fill up. (There are separate registrations for the breakfast and lecture series. Be sure to RSVP to both or one or the other. We are hoping that those who are going to the breakfast will stay for the lecture series.)

Bike Picnic

I can’t think of a sweeter way to spend your lunch break than enjoying a fun, casual bike ride paired with a yummy homemade picnic in the park. Just meet at the Provo Bicycle Collective at 11:30 am. If you are unable to bike with us feel free to meet us at Joaquin Park at 12:15 pm for just the picnic portion! And be sure to bring your own blanket and picnic!

Girls Summit

Last year a team of exceptional women put together the first ever Provo Girls Summit in conjunction with Provo Women’s Day. Professional woman came together at the Provo Library to encourage girls from 8-12 years old to come and learn more about career exploration. The event was wildly successful and there was barely any empty space in the ballroom.

Girls were able to ask questions and learn more about their vast choices ahead of them in their futures. I am thrilled to say that Provo Girls Summit will happen again this year on March 8th in the Provo Library Ballroom from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. Thanks to the leadership of Provo citizens, Tanei Henry and Allison Lew, plus other women in our community, there’s a plan to make this wonderful event happen every year.

After Party: Cirque Le Femme

Here’s the scoop – tickets will go live Thursday morning, February 15 at 10:00 am MST! So mark your calendars, set your alarms and bookmark the Eventbrite page because they’re going to go fast! Early bird tickets are $5/person and proceeds will go towards women's charities.

And so much more!

We’ve partnered up with several Provo establishments and personalities to host several events to celebrate the occasion. Sign up to attend a mini tasting and factory tour of Taste, a Yoga Class, a Parent/Child Activity Class, a Parent/Child Open Art Studio, a Sunset Hike, an Emergency Preparedness Class, and so much more. You will find all the details for these engaging activities on the Provo Women’s Day website, provowomensday.com. And be sure to follow the Facebook Event Page to receive the latest updates and details.
