Monday, November 12th is Provo’s annual Veterans Day Tribute held at Timpview High School (3570 North 650 East). The program will start at 10:00 am and is free and open to the public. The Monday morning program is planned by students of Timpview High School with the support of the Provo City Veterans Council and America’s Freedom Festival at Provo.
The tribute will include musical numbers and performances by the Timpview High School Symphonic Band and various clubs and students. Miss Provo Maren Cline will give the Pledge of Allegiance, students from Timpview High School will spotlight honored veterans, and the keynote speaker will be Major General Jefferson S. Burton.
Veterans are especially encouraged to attend the event, where they will enjoy inspirational music, hear from captivating speakers and attend a free lunch. Veterans and their immediate family are invited to stay after the program for a free lunch provided by Costa Vida at 11:00 am.
