I am pleased to announce that Provo Girls Summit is happening this year on Thursday, October 6 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at the Provo Library! If you haven't been able to attend this free career exploration event for girls ages 8-12, than mark your calendar and get ready to meet one-on-one with professional women from a variety of fields—including business, tech, academia, art, science, and more.
The goal is to help Provo girls make new connections, discover new interests, and imagine new possibilities. Girls will be able to ask questions and learn more about their vast choices ahead of them in their futures.
Registration opens on Thursday, September 22 at provogirlssummit.org - so save the date and be ready to sign up (because this event fills up fast)!
Girls Art Summit Art Show
And to kick things off they are hosting an Art Show at the Neighborhood Art Center on Monday, October 3 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. Girls, ages 8-12, are invited to submit a piece of art that responds to the theme "See it, be it". All artwork must be turned in on September 23, 26, or 28 at the Neighborhood Art Center from 10:00 am - 5:00 pm.
