Ballots Mailed Out Today!

Today’s the day! All registered voters will have their ballots mailed out today, October 15th. In the next couple of days you should see your ballots in the mail – so keep an eye out. Voters then can make their choices and mail them back. No standing in line. No waiting. No pressure.

Ballots must be postmarked on or before Monday, November 4, 2019 (the day prior to the election). Ballot drop boxes will be available for anyone wishing to hand deliver their completed mail-in ballot in the signed and sealed envelope at the following locations:

  • Provo Library (drive-up box) | 550 N University Ave | 24/7 | Box locked at 8 p.m. on election day

  • Provo City Customer Service | 351 W Center St. | Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. | Box removed at 6 p.m. on election day

  • Provo City Rec Center | 320 W 500 N | Monday to Saturday, 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. | Box removed at 8 p.m. on election day

Those who are uncertain about whether their registration status is current can check online at If you have moved, you need to ensure your address is up to date. If you are not registered, you can get a registration form from the Utah County Clerk’s Office at 100 E Center Street or register online at by August 6th. Call 801-852-6524 with questions.

On Election Day (November 5th), a voter service center will be set up at the Provo Recreation Center (320 West 500 North) from 7 a.m. through 8 p.m. Those who do not receive a ballot in the mail or who lose it can visit the service center and cast a provisional ballot. (Bring a current ID or two items bearing their current address.) ADA voting equipment will be available.

Voters can cast a vote for: Bill Fillmore for District 1; Shannon Ellsworth or Robin Roberts for District 3; Travis Hoban or Valerie Paxman for District 4; and David Shipley or Janae Moss for the citywide seat.

The 2019 Municipal Election is an opportunity to take part in shaping a democratic future, a chance to speak up. I urge every Provo resident to vote. It’s important that every one of us do so. So lets all vote!
