Livability recently named Provo as the #3 Best College Town in America!
The rankings were based on:
1. The ratio of the city's median salary to the median one-bedroom rent
2. The percentage of the population 20-29
3. The number of jobs in the education sector per 1,000 jobs in the city
4. The ration of the median salary in the city to the nation for education jobs
Livability praised the close access to the mountains, hikes, fishing, and plenty of other opportunities for outdoor recreation. We also have lots of kid friendly activities like Provo Beach and museums (don't forget about our Recreation Center!).
While Provo is an amazing college town, we know that many of you are no longer students. We value each member of our community and what makes us unique. I'm grateful that others see our amazing city and the people who live here as praiseworthy.
