Video Series

Over the next few weeks, the city will be providing information on the potential bond for a new city center. We will be holding tours and open houses so you can see, first hand, the needs of our city employees, particularly our police department and Fire Station 2. These tours and open houses will be just one way to you to ask questions and give feedback.

The city has released videos detailing what a bond means for you, the needs of our police and fire departments, and the needs of our city hall. These videos, while brief, give an overview to the possible options available to the city for a new city center. I hope you take the time to watch them, understand each option, and leave your comments through the website or through email. The website links to Open City Hall which is another way for you to ask questions and provide feedback.

Bonding is a serious issue and it's my responsibility to take a close look at it and consider the impact on all of you. I want you to know there is a need here. Our employees need to be able to do their jobs efficiently and safely. I hope you take the time to read my blogs on this important issue and to keep up to date. You can watch the first video in the series below. To visit the new website for the potential bond and options you can click here.
