We are excited to announce that Provo’s first playground specifically designed to meet all ability levels of participants will be constructed at North Park. It will be a destination play space for everyone! It is our goal to ensure that children and siblings with and without disabilities play side by side in a cooperative environment with their parents in close proximity.
We have been working with a design committee made up of local residents and all-inclusive playground design experts to bring some of the most exciting and innovative playground equipment to this popular central location.
Nearly $650,000 in grant funds and RAP funds have been secured already for this project. Through additional fundraising efforts over the next several months we plan to raise at least $100,000 more that is needed for this project.
